The Hyatt Regency London is to mount an exhibition of works by three generations of contemporary Iranian artists in the British capital.

Held in collaboration with the London and the Tehran-based cultural consultancy Candlestar, Iran Unbowed will offer paintings, photographs and sculptures by a group of emerging and veteran artists.
Works of renowned figures such as Abbas Kiarostami, Farideh Lashai and Parviz Tanavoli will be displayed along with the creations of leading mid-career artists including Pouya Ayranpour and Samira Alikhanzadeh.
Hossein Cheraghchi and Rasoul Soltani will also make their debut at Iran Unbowed.
Works by the finalists of the Magic of Persia Contemporary Art Prize (MOP CAP) will also be showcased during the event, to be held from Oct. 10 to 24, 2009 at the five-star Hyatt Regency Hotel.
MOP CAP is the first award to globally recognize the talent of emerging Iranian artists and is designed to support and promote their career developments.
