Just three days after Baghdad experienced one of its deadliest bomb attacks, three explosions rocked the capital and the northern city of Mosul on Wednesday.
Three people, all women, were killed and four others were wounded after a magnetic "sticky bomb" attached to a mini-bus exploded in Baghdad's Shia neighborhood of Sadr City, while six others were injured in an explosion near a grain mill factory in the western Kadhimiya district on Wednesday.
In the restive city of Mosul, 350 km (220 miles) north of the capital, a roadside bomb targeting an army patrol killed three civilians and wounded five others.
Baghdad witnessed its bloodiest attack since 2007 on Sunday, after a two-ton lorry and a minibus exploded simultaneously near the Justice and Municipality buildings.
More than 150 people were killed and nearly 600 others were wounded in the coordinated attacks.
An al-Qaeda-linked group known as the Islamic State of Iraq has claimed responsibility for the twin bombings
