Veteran Iranian actress and voice actor Niku Kheradmand has passed away at the age of 77 at a hospital in capital Tehran

Kheradmand died of a heart attack at Tehran's Avicenna Hospital on Tuesday morning. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday from Iran's House of Cinema.
Kheradmand started her career as a radio anchor in 1960 and became one of the greatest figures of Iran's film dubbing industry in the following years.
The breakthrough in her acting career came with Varuzh Karim-Masihi's 1991 The Last Act, which won her the Best Supporting Actress award of the 9th Fajr International Film Festival.
Saman Moqaddam's Cafe Setareh, Reza Karimi's A Thousand Women Like Me, Ebrahim Mokhtari's Zinat and Nasser Taqvayi's Unruled Paper are among Kheradmand's most memorable performances
