Smokers have started to hit the pavements with the enforcement of the ban on smoking in enclosed areas. Some citizens are angry and some support the ban.

The ban on smoking went into effect yesterday. On the first day of the ban, the police interfered with those who smoked during the May 19th celebrations in Ankara.
Smoking has now been banned in enclosed spaces. Some smokers are frustrated with the ban that began to be enforced yesterday and some support the ban.
Some say "I will pay the fine and smoke".
The ban went into effect on the national holiday, Sports and Youth day, May 19th.
As it is forbidden to smoke in enclosed spaces from now on, smokers are hitting the pavements.
Passengers smoked in front of the airport just before their flights.
Those caught smoking in enclosed spaces will be fined a monetary penalty of 62 YTL.
